Rose Helps Samsung Launch Olympic Sponsorship Campaign
Rose, a top Russian marketing and public relations agency, has helped organize large-scale press events dedicated to the presentation of Samsung's sponsorship of the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi. Rose has been Samsung's public relations agency in Russia for more than a decade.
Via a live press conference and teleconference run simultaneously in Sochi and in Moscow, Samsung Electronics unveiled its plans to support the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, including its Team Samsung project, which will feature participation of Russian Olympic athlets, as well as interactive media activities - Public WOW and Samsung Global Bloggers.
The company also presented a unique Olympic initiative – Matrioshka Samsung, a concept which Rose has developed for the project.
Matrioshka Samsung is an Olympic mascot, prepared for the Winter Olympics 2014. Decorated with images of winter Olympic sports and the Sochi 2014 emblem, each matrioshka presents an individual Olympic sport at the same time embodying the Russian traditions and culture. During 2013, Matrioshka Samsung will appear on all key Olympic events, and in the most unexpected locations: training with well-known athletes, hobnobbing with celebrities and posing in Samsung retail stores. At the end of this great journey, Matrioshka Samsung will again appear at the opening ceremony of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi.
