Rose Secretly Creates Massive 10 000 Square Meter ‘Crop Circle’ Watch In Rostov For Samsung’s New Circular Gear S2 Launch In Russia
Rose, a leading Russian public relations and marketing firm and Samsung’s long-standing agency, was the force behind the creation of the image of Samsung’s new Gear S2 watch in the corn fields at Chernyshevka Khutor, Rostov. The agency also managed the Russian media introduction for the new device along with the new Galaxy Note 5 at a media event the last week. A film
has also been released showing how the agency managed to secretly create the massive 10,000 square meter image of the new Gear S2.
Sightings of “Crop Circles” have been reported for hundreds of years leading to scientific investigation and conjecture as to whether they are a natural phenomenon, man-made hoaxes or evidence of extraterrestrial spacecraft landings. In this case, the cause is clear. On behalf of Samsung, Rose created the vast impression of its newest wearable device — watch strap and all — in a massive corn field in Rostov.
«Our task was to generate attention for the circular design of the new Samsung Gear S2. We are fortunate to serve as Samsung’s agency for so many years and to have opportunities like this to use our imagination to launch this exciting new product in such a big, fun way,» said Rose General Director, Galina Savina. «It was a real challenge to create this massive "crop circle” image without being seen. And our “crop watch” even tells the correct time — twice each day.»
The agency would like to thank RZ Agro Holding for allowing us to use their field and for all their incredible cooperation.
